Here at Giggles & Wiggles, we try to accommodate our parents and children by staying open on as many holidays as possible. There are several, however, that we will observe by celebrating with our own families.
Giggles & Wiggles observes the following holidays:
New Year’s Day
Presidents Day
Good Friday
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Weekend (Thurs & Fri)
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Giggles & Wiggles cares for children as young as 6 weeks. We can accommodate every child’s feeding schedule, and can use refrigerated/frozen breast milk provided by the mother.
When a child misbehaves, we try and talk to them and find out what is making them act out. If a child’s parents have specific discipline methods that work for them at home, we are happy to accommodate them. But we never punish our children or harm them in any way.
The children get fed around 5 times a day, including breakfast, a morning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack, and if the children stay late enough, dinner as well. Feeding times are spaced out by approximately 1.5-2 hours apart.
Yes, the children frequently go on trips to the park or the kid’s museum. When the children go on field trips, they travel only in safety-rated vehicles. All children under 8 are travel securely in either a booster seat or child car seat—whichever is age appropriate.
